Ambassador Jović participated in the International Energy Conference in Sofia, which was held for the fifth time, at a times when the non expert population is becoming aware of the important role of energy and the great energy crisis whose consequences cannot yet be fully seen and predicted. One of the key topics of this very important meeting was the consideration of the possibilities for the successful implementation of the energy transition, on the path to a cleaner, decarbonized world.
The key question, among many others, elaborated by Holter Rogner (International Atomic Energy Agency) and prof. Janko Janev, director of the Vienna Institute for the Management of Atomic Sciences, was based on how to fulfill this plan and not lead the economy and the entire society to a complete collapse.
