On June 8, 2022, in Sofia, the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS), in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB), held a presentation "Experience Serbia" and a business forum, with special emphasis on cultural events.

The event was opened by Ambassador Mr. Ž. Jović and Vice Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Irena Georgieva. Ambassador Jović said that the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Bulgaria are neighboring countries, connected by great tradition and culture, as well as excellent bilateral cooperation, and called on the tourist representatives of both countries to use all available resources to deepen the corporation in the field of tourism.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Director of TOS, Zorica Jovanov, as well as numerous representatives of regional and local tourism organizations and tour operators from the both countries. D. Butigan, marketing manager of TOS, and Saša Stevanović, head of the tourism development department of TOB, presented the most important segments of the tourist offer and potentials of the Republic of Serbia.

Representatives of tourism entities of the two countries held individual (B2B) meetings and exchanged information of mutual interest, in order to achieve possible future business cooperation. The structure of the companies was primarily in the field of hotels, catering and mineral spa centers.
