Armistice Day in World War I marked in Sofia

A ceremony to commemorate the fallen Serbian soldiers was held at the Serbian Military Cemetery in Sofia yesterday, November 11, on the occasion of the Armistice Day in World War I.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Đorđe Todorov, together with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Bulgaria, Milan Ravić, and the Defense Attaché, Nebojša Vujanac, and in the presence of representatives of Bulgarian institutions, the diplomatic and military-diplomatic corps, as well as representatives of the Association of Descendants of Serbian Warriors and other citizens, laid a laurel wreath at the monument to Serbian soldiers at the Orlandovci Cemetery. The delegation of the Republic of Serbia, led by State Secretary Todorov, then attended the Armistice Day commemoration and laid wreaths at the British, French, Italian and German military cemeteries.
