The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Bulgaria congratulates all Serbian citizens on the Statehood Day!

This year, the Embassy solemnly marked Statehood Day in the presence of a large number of dignitaries, and Ambassador Ravić, in his address, emphasized the meaning and significance of the holiday for Serbian history. Pointing out that the national movement for the restoration of the Serbian state in the first half of the 19th century inherited in spirit the centuries-old traditions of freedom, statehood, constitutionalism and egalitarianism, he emphasized that modern Serbian democracy was built on these values.

With a focus on Serbia's impressive achievements in overall development and modernization over the past decade, numerous dignitaries from the institutions of the Republic of Bulgaria and the diplomatic corps, as well as Serbian citizens in Bulgaria, were specially presented with "Expo2027Belgrade", with an invitation to visit our country next year, which, thanks to this specialized international exhibition, will be the world capital of knowledge exchange, innovation, technological and cultural achievements from at least 135 countries, which have so far confirmed their participation.

At the same time, representatives of 13 regional tourist organizations from the Republic of Serbia presented the rich tourist offer of our country to the guests of the reception, and the dignitaries also had the opportunity to view an exhibition of selected photographs of decorative sculptures of the Moravian style of Serbian medieval architecture from the Kalenić Monastery, organized by the Embassy.
