Diplomatic Academy students visited the Republic of Bulgaria

The Diplomatic Academy students of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia paid a three-day visit to the Republic of Bulgaria.

During the visit, organized by the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, they had the opportunity to learn about the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Bulgaria, the main directions of development of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as the key elements of Bulgaria's energy security and Bulgaria's experiences in the process of European integration. The Diplomatic Academy students also had the opportunity to exchange experiences with trainee attachés of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute.

Ambassador Ravić and the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia had the honor and pleasure to host the students at the premises of the Embassy, ​​where the students learned about the work of the Embassy and the priorities of bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Bulgaria.

On the third day of the visit, the Diplomatic Academy students visited Veliko Tarnovo, the former capital of Bulgaria, where, organized by the mayor, they had the opportunity to visit the sights of Veliko Tarnovo and, in the Church of the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste, pay homage to the tomb, where the relics of Saint Sava rested for a short time after his death until their transfer to Serbia.
