Presentation of the tourist offer of Eastern Serbia

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Bulgaria today had the honor and pleasure to support the presentation of the rich tourist and gastronomic offer of Eastern Serbia, organized in Sofia by the Regional Agency for the Development of Eastern Serbia.

The event was designed to directly connect tour operators from Bulgaria with providers of tourist services from Eastern Serbia, primarily in the areas of hospitality and wine tourism.

In the presence of a significant number of interested representatives of the Bulgarian tourism and media sector, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Milan Ravić, in his welcoming address, emphasized the Embassy's determination to support the tourism sector in every possible way, in the function of further developing economic relations, as well as good-neighborly and friendly ties between the two states and two peoples.

In this regard, he particularly noted the positive role of tourism in the overall mutual promotion of countries, and expressed his hope that today's and all future contacts in the tourism sector will produce tangible results and contribute to a further increase in mutual tourist exchange in the field of tourism.

The Ambassador specifically contextualized his hope in anticipation of next year, during which Serbia will host the largest specialized international exhibition to date, EXPO 2027, while Bulgaria, following the recent victory of its representative at the "Eurovision Song Contest", will host this continentally popular and symbolically significant music competition in 2027.
